Welcome to our FAQ section! Here you'll find answers to common questions about our online subscription box service. I have curated these based on the queries we receive from our valued customers. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out.
Visual Voices is a monthly subscription service whereby each customer will register an account.
Once you have received a confirmation email that your registration has been successful, you will receive a box of tools and resources that you can use over the month to support and develop your child's communication.
This will give you the time to work on each box consistently before receiving your next box.
Boxes will be dispatched on the 25th day of each month. Please allow up to 5 working days for your box to arrive.
Each new customer will start with box 1, and each box thereafter will expand on the previous box/es, containing resources and tools that increase in difficulty.
There are 12 boxes in total and at the end of your subscription you will have the tools and resources, and secured the skills that you will need to support communication between you, your child and others in their world.
Although Visual Voices was put together with parents who have children with communication difficulties in mind. It would also be a useful tool for childminders, state run nursery schools, primary schools and privately run nurseries.
All of the resources, toys and tools in each of my boxes have been carefully curated as a result of my knowledge and experience, to give any adults working with your child the skills to support them with their communication development
I wanted to make my boxes easy to use and accessible for every family that needs them.
Therefore I can make some elements of the boxes using other languages.

There may be some government funding that can be applied for, that will allow you to register an account with Visual Voices.
As a parent you can apply for 'Disability Living Allowance' (DLA)
If your application is successful you can use your payments to subscribe to our service.
If your child's setting does not already have communication strategies in place to support your child, an application can be made by the setting for SEND Inclusion Funding. You may then be able to discuss with your child's setting what the funding will be used for and suggest that a subscription to Visual Voices is made. The resources could then be shared between your child's setting and the home.
Please allow up to 5 working days for your box to arrive.
Boxes will be sent via Royal Mail standard delivery. Boxes can also be posted through Royal Mail's Tracked delivery service at an extra cost.

All boxes will be dispatched on the 25th day of each month until your subscription ends.
I create each box myself by hand, and take every care to ensure you receive each order in the best condition.
Sometimes things can go wrong and in the unusual event that something in your box is faulty, damaged or missing, please get in touch with me as soon as possible so that I can put this right for you.
I will always do my best to to replace any faulty items like for like, but sometimes this may not be possible and an alternative will be offered.

I hope that every customer will be happy with all of their boxes. But if for any reason you are not entirely happy with the contents, you can return your box for a full refund.

Please Note: Refunds and exchanges will only be issued once returned boxes have been received, and are complete (no used or missing elements) and in their original condition.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time after the first three months, but please be aware that there are a total of 12 boxes to collect, allowing you to build your skills and support your child's communication development. Cancelling your subscription will result in you not receiving all of the tools and may put limitations on your child's progress.
If you find that you need longer to progress with any of the boxes, you can pause twice during your subscription.
Please contact me directly on Visualvoices.assist@outlook.com at least 48hrs before the despatch date of the 25th day of each month. Requests after this date will not be be able to be processed.
Each box will be despatched on the 25th day of each month. You can cancel your subscription at anytime after the first 3 months and within one week of the next box being dispatched e.g. before the 18th day of each month.
